The artist, who is now the fourth BTS member who rolled out a solo album, earlier said he expressed feelings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Data released by Billboard on April 4 showed that the title song Like Crazy won the top place in Billboard's World Digital Song Sales chart. Its music video has gained more than 33 million views on YouTube as of April 5. The dance song featuring melodic rhythms is based on the concept of the 2011 romantic drama film "Like Crazy." The solo album's other songs -- "Set Me Free Pt.2 "Face-off" (Face-off) and FAce-off -- also ranked in the top 10 on the weekly chart showing mostly downloaded songs.
Jimin has been active as a solo artist while BTS is taking a hiatus. Jimin collaborated with BIGBANG member Taeyang for "VIBE," a song with more than 92 million views on YouTube. The singer is also serving as the global ambassador of Christian Dior, a France-based high-end luxury fashion brand known as Dior. Just like Jin, the oldest BTS member who completed his basic training in January 2023, Jimin is required to fulfill his compulsory military service.
