But, it led to his death. He was known as “Mr. Muscles” among his friends. He was taken to a hospital immediately by his friends and was declared dead. The pills he took were said to contain the drug DNP (Dinitrophenol) which was linked to several deaths.
His friends are spreading tribute to him on social networking site like Facebook. It was told by his friends that he posted about the DNP pills on face about before his death and also some pictures of his growing muscles.
Nothing can be said about the reason for his death until the post-mortem report. His parents were called from India and they were taken aback by knowing about his death and waiting for post-mortem report to know the clear reason for his death.
The university’s vice-chancellor, Dr. Simon Ofield-Kerr, offered his sympathy to the boy’s family and friends. He banned DNP pills in the university immediately after his death and asked the students to stop using them if they already taking it or having it with them. Such drugs are declared as lethal.
Investigators reportedly said that such drugs were sold to the students through some Internet pharmacies in less than 25 pounds. They were advertised to help in building your body by burning calories and were sold under different names. Such online pharmacy delivers them in just few days after the order and hence, they are easily available to the students in just one click of mouse.
Investigations into the case are still going on and the students are advised to be careful of such lethal drugs.
