LeAnn Rimes’ new album ‘Spitfire’ is about to be released on June 4 and in a promotional interview with US Weekly that she expressed that she would love to have a child, a baby girl preferably.
In an interview with People magazine, Rimes said, “It took my mom 12 years to have me. I hope I don’t have that but if I do, then a surrogate is something I’ve thought about. Eddie and I have also talked about adopting. My capacity to love a child doesn’t stop at my own eggs, obviously.”
Rimes (30) has been married to actor Eddie Cibrian for 2 years but the couple does not have a child yet.
Her haters told the major tabloids that she could not seem to get pregnant because of karma.
Rimes fell in love with her backup dancer Dean Sheremet in 2001 and married in 2002. While married to Sheremet, she cheated in 2009 with actor Eddie Cibrian who was married as well. Both Rimes’ husband and Cibrian’s wife expressed their disgust and pain. Before announcing her engagement to Cibrian, Rimes spoke out to public for the first on the matter and took full responsibility of what happened. She sincerely apologized to both her ex-husband and her soon-to-be husband’s ex-wife.
The couple got married privately in 2011.
