Homosexual acts should be legal, Obama says

U.S. President Barack Obama on his trip to Senegal met President Macky Sall to talk about the gay rights. Obama asked Sall to provide equal rights to gay people. Sall said that the country was not ready to legalize gay acts in the coming future, subduing the fact that the homosexual people are frequently being attacked by the civilians with no actions being taken by the government.

Thirty-eight African countries are still bounded by the same thinking and hold the same answer to President Sall. Obama’s suggestion on this topic hints that the U.S. government could back out with their support if African countries would not accept their suggestion to pass a law against discrimination with homosexual acts.

Further, Obama with his family is looking forward to travel to Robben Island in South Africa and Tanzania where he would pay respect to the Martyrs of Al-Qaida bombing attack in 1998. He even cancelled his plans to visit his native place due to his busy schedule.

Recently, gay marriages are made legalized in the U.S. and France. This has made Senegalese believe in the fictional situation that homosexual rights would soon be provided. This has made political issues in Senegal. President Sall said that he is presently not looking forward to provide gay rights.

Obama is kept under faith by Sall that his visit to Senegal would not prove worthless and he would try to make government convince on passing law for homosexual rights.
