Croatia's striker Mario Mandzukic named ‘Man of the Match’

Croatia's striker Mario Mandzukic, who scored two second-half goals in a Group A preliminary round match between Croatia and Cameroon of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil on Wednesday (local time), was named the “Man of the Match.”

Mandzukic plays for Bayern Munich in the German Bundesliga.

Croatia won 4-0 over Cameroon to keep alive their hopes of advancing to the Round of 16. Croatia was defeated 1-3 by host Brazil in the opening match of the 2014 World Cup a week ago.

Cameroon was eliminated from the World Cup with two losses in Group A. In its tournament opener, Cameroon was defeated 0-1 by Mexico.
