In an interview in April, Jo, a Catholic believer, said she has respected Pope Francis for “his humbleness and honesty," according to the agency.
She said she believes that “his message in South Korea will give some help to the people facing difficulties around the world.
The Pope is scheduled to arrive in South Korea on Aug. 14 for a five-day visit.
