Nexen's Seo Geon-chang voted MVP in South Korean pro baseball

Seo Geon-chang, second baseman for the Nexen Heroes, was voted the Most Valuable Player (MVP) in South Korean pro baseball, Tuesday. He won 77 or 77.8 percent of 99 media votes to claim the 2014 KBO MVP award. KBO stands for the Korea Baseball Organization. Seo, a 25-year-old who batted .370, beat out his teammates, first baseman Park Byung-ho and shortstop Kang Jung-ho, who garnered 13 votes and seven votes, respectively. The awards ceremony was held at The K-Hotel in Yangjae-dong, southern Seoul.
