Shirts worn by 22 other members of the South Korean men's national football team were also auctioned during the event designed to help the underprivileged, according to the shopping site, Auction, Tuesday.
T-shirts of midfielder Ki Sung-yueng (Sunderland), goalkeeper Kim Jin-hyeon (Cerezo Osaka) and defender Cha Du-ri (FC Seoul) were sold 1,210,000 won, 1,005,000 won and 699,000 won, respectively.
Prices for those T-shirts smashed their pre-sale estimates as the South Korean team defeated Iraq 2-0 in Australia on Monday to reach the final of the AFC Asian Cup, officials at Auction said.
All proceeds from the auction will be delivered to the World Vision, one of the world's leading relief and development agencies, they said.
