A K-pop concert was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, Saturday to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the establishment of formal ties between South Korea and Mongolia, the foreign ministry in Seoul said. Those who gave performances during the concert, hosted by the South Korean Embassy in Mongolia, included K-pop groups, such as Crayon Pop, K-Much, and MAMAMOO, Mongolian singers, the Mongolian national orchestra and a traditional Mongolian dance troupe. In Mongolia, South Korean dramas have recorded high viewer ratings in recent years, and many Mongolians, mostly youths, join K-pop fan clubs, according to reports.
