Women and children make songpyeon, traditional Korean half-moon-shaped rice cakes that are stuffed with sweet fillings, at an event to share the special food with neighbors at the Seongsu Social Welfare Center in Seongdong-gu, Seoul, Thursday. Koreans eat songpyeon on Chuseok to celebrate the harvest time of the year. Chuseok, Korean version of the Thanksgiving Day, falls on Sept. 27 according to the lunar calendar.
