South Korean actor Ji Sung has been invited to a ceremonial pitch at a game between LA Dodgers and Baltimore Orioles on July 5.
According to LA Dodgers' press release, the popular actor will throw the ceremonial pitch as part of a "Korea Night" event in July. Ji Sung is one of South Korea's most famous actors, appearing in hit dramas such as "Kill Me, Heal Me" and "Ddanddara".
On the event day, a taekwondo performance team will show off skills, followed by South Korean singer Kim Tae-woo singing the US national anthem. Other Korea-related events will be held at night.
The Korea Night is presented by the state-run Korea Tourism Organization and the buyers of tickets for special events will be gifted with an LA Dodgers T-shirt printed with the team's logo and the South Korean flag.
