South Korea's economy posted slow growth in the third quarter of this year as exports and consumption remained weak, central bank data showed Tuesday.
The country's third-quarter gross domestic product grew 0.7 percent from the previous quarter, according to the Bank of Korea. Asia's fourth-largest economy grew 2.7 percent from a year earlier, compared with a second-quarter expansion of 3.3 percent.
Facility investments fell 0.1 percent on quarter in the July-September period while exports grew 0.8 percent from the previous quarter.
