Singer IU unveiled two teaser images Monday, hinting at her first comeback in 18 months with a full-album. The singer's Facebook page is bustling with hundreds of fans expressing anticipation towards her upcoming activities.

"I can't believe how lucky I am to have met you. If we were together now... How sweet it would be," the 23-year-old's agency left a note on her Facebook with two teaser images for her track "Night Letter". The song will be pre-released on March 24 a month ahead of the album's full release.

The post has garnered over 16,000 likes in less than 10 hours with fans posting supporting comments. "Oh man, I am so happy. The images are so good. I can't wait for her comeback," wrote Kang Hyun-muk, a Facebook user.  Another user, Park Seung-jun, said: "I can't describe the excitement I am feeling. I really can't wait until April 21!"

Fans' excitement is intense. The singer's activity came to an abrupt halt due to a controversy sparked by malicious online rumors. Cyber bullies accused her of using sexual metaphors in her song "Twenty Three". IU stopped all activities a few months after the song's release amid an intensifying online debate.

Experts predict IU will score big with her new self-produced album as she is now one of the very few successful female solo artists in the South Korean music scene dominated by girl groups or their solo-turned members.
