CJ ENM, which created the Oscar-winning film "Parasite," said in a statement on September 1 that the company will support the release of APOKI's album and concerts as well as develop a selection of related merchandise. "We will expand our music-based IP ecosystem by establishing a new IP value chain through the strategic partnership with AFUN," said Park Joon-ho, IP head at CJ ENM's music content division.

CJ ENM, credited with promoting Hallyu, has launched an aggressive push for content production targeting the global market. The company will open a virtual production studio north of Seoul by the end of 2021 by leveraging Samsung Electronics' microLED technology and the visual content creation technology of Epic Games, an American 3D game engine company.
