Genie Music to provide connected online music streaming service for Genesis GV60

SEOUL -- Genie Music, the online music service wing of South Korea's top telecom company KT, will offer a hi-fi music streaming service for GV60, an electric crossover utility vehicle model released by Hyundai auto group's luxury brand Genesis.

Electric vehicle drivers can fully enjoy Genie's services through GV60's panoramic digital infotainment system and stream music and receive music suggestions. Genie's connected music service is the brainchild of the collaboration between Genie, Hyundai and KT, which have worked together to provide online music streaming services.

The first Genie service was provided through GV70, a mid-sized luxury Genesis sport utility vehicle, in December 2020. "Genie will continue to work with Hyundai and KT to upgrade connected music service that is capable of offering innovative music-listening environments," Genie's innovative technology division director Seo In-wook said in a statement on October 6.
