SEOUL -- South Korea's state startup incubation agency has kick-started an artificial intelligence and big data-based business analysis service. The service would provide analysis and estimates for business operators so that they could take preemptive actions to improve their operations.

The Korea SMEs and Startups Agency (KOSME) said in a statement on December 30 that an AI-based business analysis service called "BizPathFinder" was released to provide multi-angle insights and future analysis for startup and venture company operators.

Through the service, business owners can compare financial achievements, estimate their businesses' future growth and gain access to statistics related to small-and-medium-sized businesses and venture companies.

"We hope KOSME's startup analysis service becomes an important turning point for SMEs which can be left stranded on the blind side of information and data. KOSME President Kim Hak-do said in a statement. Kim also stressed that businesses' ability to gain access to various information is vital to the survival of companies.
