Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, has stated that his nation will benefit from South Korea's military assistance in its conflict with Russia. He has expressed hope that Korea will be able to deliver this support.
 
Zelenskyy made the comments during a speech in Kyiv commemorating the first anniversary of Russia's invasion into Ukraine in response to North Atlantic Treaty Organization Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg's call for South Korea to provide military assistance to the war-torn country.

J-Hope of BTS will enlist in the South Korean military

The agency for BTS said on Sunday that J-Hope has withdrawn his appeal to put off starting his mandatory military service. Big Hit said merely that it will make a statement as soon as the notification of enlisting is released and did not give a specific time limit for when he will enlist.
 
The action follows a declaration that all seven members of the K-pop boy band want to carry out their military obligations, and it came two months after Jin, the eldest member of BTS, first enlisted in the military.

A new street's groundbreaking ceremony is attended by the leader of North Korea in Pyongyang

State media in North Korea stated on February 26 that Kim Jong-un had attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a new roadway in Pyongyang. According to the official Korean Central News Agency (KCNA), Kim attended the ceremony on Saturday in Pyongyang's Sopo neighborhood, which is part of an ambitious project to construct 4,100 dwellings in the northern portion of the capital city.

American nuclear-powered submarine arrives in Busan

The U.S. Pacific Fleet announced on February 25 that a nuclear-powered submarine from the United States has arrived in South Korea for a planned visit. This move appears to be a show of force and a warning to North Korea to refrain from provocations.
 
Without specifying the time of arrival, the 6,000-ton Los Angeles-class fast attack submarine USS Springfield berthed at the naval facility in the southern port city of Busan for a "planned port visit."
