The event designed to celebrate Asian American Pacific Islander Heritage Month will take place at the David Rubenstein Atrium at Lincoln Center. "DJ CHEN will curate a set of songs performed by Korea's amazing groups with members from various AAPI backgrounds including NCT, SEVENTEEN, and Stray Kids," the cultural center said in a statement. Other K-pop dance groups such as KNESIS and KBS Dance Team will also take part in the event.
South Korea's music album exports have consistently increased since exceeding $40 million for the first time in 2017, surpassing $100 million in 2020, and $200 million in 2021.
