SEOUL, March 27 (AJU PRESS) -- Le Sserafim's "Easy" has been named on Billboard's top 200 popular albums chart for four consecutive weeks. The album, containing five songs, depicts the story of the five-member band's concerns and fears that hide behind its confident demeanor.
Billboard's chart released on March 30 showed that Easy ranked 112th on the Billboard 200 chart. The music video of its title track, "Easy," currently has garnered over 70 million views on YouTube. The group also dominated the top ranks on major domestic music charts. On March 25, the title song ranked fourth on Melon, one of South Korea's most popular online music services.
Le Sserafim is a multinational group formed by BTS agency Hybe's music label Source Music. The group has two South Koreans, two Japanese, and one American. The band's debut song "Fearless" entered the Billboard chart eight days after its release. Group members are scheduled to participate in the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival, a popular music event held in California, in April 2024. The annual event is known for showcasing popular artists in indie rock, hip-hop, and electronic dance music.
The group has worked as a five-member group since May 2022 when member Kim Ga-ram was embroiled in her alleged school bullying. Source Music terminated the contract with the troubled member in July 2022.
