SEOUL, May 14 (AJU PRESS) - Emart24, a leading convenience store chain in Korea, is selling Bitcoin-themed lunch boxes in partnership with Bithumb, a cryptocurrency exchange, in a campaign to promote digital currencies.

The Bitcoin Lunch Box, launched on May 7, contains a coupon that can be exchanged for 10,000 won worth of Bitcoin. Customers need to access the Bithumb app via a QR code on the coupon and enter the coupon number.

Users can receive an additional 20,000 won worth of Bitcoin if they create a Bitcoin account with NH Nonghyup Bank or link their existing Nonghyup account to the exchange.

A total of 30,000 lunch boxes will be available at Emart24 stores by the end of the month, priced at 5,900 won each.

Bithumb plans to donate the same number of lunch boxes to underprivileged people as the total number sold by the end of the month, the companies said.
