Samsung's Tizen OS adopted by luxury German TV brand LOEWE

SEOUL, July 15 (AJU PRESS) - Samsung Electronics announced Monday its Tizen operating system will be installed in LOEWE's premium TV lineup, "Stellar." LOEWE, a century-old German brand known for high-end home cinema products, will now offer Samsung's TV Plus, Gaming Hub, and SmartThings services through Tizen OS.

Tizen OS, developed by Samsung, is one of the world's largest TV platforms, powering over 270 million Samsung smart TVs as of 2023. It provides a wide range of services, including free video streaming and gaming, while ensuring user security through Samsung Knox.

Kim Yong-soo, vice president of Samsung's visual display business, emphasized that Tizen OS is optimized for the AI TV era, offering consumers easy access to rich content and innovative services.

Samsung plans to introduce Tizen OS to more TV manufacturers, leveraging its diverse content, services and intuitive user interface.
