The world's biggest gaming exhibition opened in Cologne on Wednesday (local time) for a five-day run with about 1,400 companies participating.
The Korean tech giant has set up its largest-ever exhibition space, spanning 800 square meters.
At the forefront of its offerings is the Odyssey 3D, which won the Best of Innovation award in the Gaming & eSports category at this year's CES in Las Vegas.
The monitor allows users to experience 3D visuals without wearing stereoscopic glasses. It uses lenticular lens technology, eye tracking and view mapping to provide optimized 3D visuals. Available in 37-inch and 27-inch sizes with 4K resolution, the monitor features a 1-millisecond response time and a 165 Hz refresh rate.
Samsung is expanding its 2024 Odyssey OLED lineup by introducing three new models ranging from 27 to 49 inches. These models will be launched globally in North America, Europe and Australia.
At gamescom, visitors can experience the monitors with new games from partners like Blizzard Entertainment, Krafton and HoYoverse.
Samsung held a 20.6 percent share in the global market for gaming monitors with refresh rates of 144 Hz and above, maintaining its top position for five consecutive years, according to market research firm IDC.
