Samsung, LG win big at CES 2025

SEOUL, November 15 (AJP) - Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics received numerous innovation awards at CES 2025, one of the world’s largest electronics show, the Consumer Technology Association announced Thursday.

Samsung secured 29 awards — 16 in video displays, four in home appliances, five in mobile devices, three in semiconductors and one for Harman International. 

They included four Best Innovation Awards. The company's C-Lab startups garnered an additional 12 awards, including one Best Innovation Award.

Samsung's other winning products include the Galaxy Buds3 Pro with premium sound and adaptive noise control, Galaxy AI's advanced camera features and the LPDDR5X semiconductor. 

Samsung SDI received four awards for its PRiMX battery technologies in its first CES appearance.

LG Electronics earned 24 awards, including three Best Innovation Awards, across artificial intelligence, home appliances, gaming and computer hardware categories.

Its OLED TV won top honors for the third consecutive year, marking 13 straight years of CES Innovation Awards in the display category.

LG's other recognized products include its webOS platform's cybersecurity features, AI home hub "LG ThinQ ON" with generative AI capabilities, UltraGear OLED gaming monitor, gram Pro laptop, MyView smart monitor and CineBeam projector.

The companies will display their award-winning products at CES 2025, set for Jan. 7-10 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
