SEOUL, December 13 (AJP) - Samsung Electronics, SK Group, and LG Electronics will showcase their latest artificial intelligence technologies at CES 2025, set to take place in Las Vegas from Jan. 7 to 10.
Samsung Electronics, occupying the largest exhibition space of 3,368 square meters, will present its "AI for All: Everyday, Everywhere" strategy, focusing on AI integration across its TV, home appliance, and smartphone lineup. The company's Device Experience Division Vice Chairman Han Jong-hee will deliver a keynote speech on Jan. 6.
LG Electronics will host its "LG World Premiere" event with CEO Cho Joo-wan presenting the company's vision of "Life's Good with Sympathetic Intelligence," demonstrating AI technologies that enhance customer experiences. LG Innotek plans to showcase 41 mobility components, while Hyundai Mobis will introduce three new technologies including a holographic windshield display.
Korean companies dominated the CES 2025 Innovation Awards, with 129 out of 292 global winners coming from South Korea, followed by the United States (60), China (16), and Japan (15). Samsung Electronics received 29 innovation awards, including four Best of Innovation awards, while LG Electronics secured 24 awards with three Best of Innovation honors.
However, several companies are reducing their CES presence. SK Group will only send SK Hynix and SK Telecom representatives, down from seven affiliates last year, while LG Electronics is cutting its delegation by 20-30 percent. LG Display has decided not to set up a separate booth this year.
