SEOUL, January 31 (AJP) - LG Electronics showcased its latest technologies to consul generals from 11 countries at its North American headquarters in Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, on Thursday, the firm said Friday.

The diplomatic delegation, coordinated with the Korean Consulate General in New York, included representatives from Canada, Finland, Georgia, Japan, Pakistan, Poland, Switzerland, Thailand, the Philippines, and Türkiye. The visitors met with Thomas Jung, LG Electronics North America CEO, and Kim Eui-hwan, Consul General of the Republic of Korea in New York.

During the visit, the delegation toured the company's showroom, where they viewed products including the wireless transparent OLED TV "LG Signature OLED T" and the portable wireless screen "Stand by me."

The consular officials also examined the building's environmental features, which previously earned a Platinum certification from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design (LEED) program, the highest rating for sustainable buildings.

The initiative aims to strengthen international partnerships and enhance cooperation between the participating nations in the North American market, LG said.
