Titleist has introduced two new GTS fairway woods (GTS2 and GTS3) designed to enhance long game performance. These models incorporate the next-generation design philosophy of the previously launched GTS driver, optimized for fairway woods.

The key feature of the new GTS fairway woods is their center of gravity (CG) design. They utilize a "wrap-around composite crown" that extends the crown area to the sides of the club head, allowing for approximately 16 grams of mass to be repositioned lower in the club head. This results in a lower and deeper CG, achieving higher launch angles, lower spin rates, and improved forgiveness. The lowered CG helps maintain stable trajectories even on strikes low on the face.

The clubs also support precise customization tailored to individual swing characteristics. A "dual weight system" allows golfers to adjust weight distribution using weights located in the heel and toe. The standard setup includes an 11-gram weight in the heel and a 5-gram weight in the toe, with various optional weights available for custom fitting to desired shot shapes. Additionally, a "forged L-Cup face" wraps around the bottom of the face, designed to maintain consistent ball speed and trajectory across various fairway lies. Improvements have also been made to the sound and feel at impact.

Notably, the new models feature a "silver face" instead of the previous black, based on feedback from tour players. This change enhances visual stability by making the face more recognizable at address. The shallow face design creates an illusion of a larger head, reducing psychological pressure. Furthermore, the newly improved sole design allows the leading edge to naturally conform to the grass, aiding in consistent shots.

The GTS fairway woods are available in two head designs to match different swing types. The "GTS2" features a lower face height and larger head size compared to the previous generation, designed for higher forgiveness and easier launch, making it suitable for golfers with a shallow attack angle. However, the 13.5-degree model retains a relatively higher face height to cater to golfer preferences.

The "GTS3" is optimized for golfers with a downward swing and those seeking precise ball control, featuring a deeper face and compact head design. A new 21-degree model has been added, expanding loft options. The GTS3 also adopts the same heel-toe flat weight system as the GTS2, allowing for easy and precise CG adjustments.
