IPARK Hyundai Development is enhancing safety and health management for construction workers in preparation for summer heatwaves and heavy rainfall.

On June 22, IPARK Hyundai Development reported that CEO Jeong Gyeong-gu and other executives visited the Gimhae Buwon Smart City Development Project site on June 19 to assess the company's response to extreme heat.

The inspection included participation from key executives such as Park Hee-yoon, head of the Development Division; Jo Gi-hoon, head of the Management Division; Bae Chi-seong, head of the Sales Division; Jo Heung-bong, head of the Infrastructure Division; and Kang Min-seok, head of the Architecture Division.

The management team reviewed safety management practices for major construction processes and the status of high-risk work areas. They particularly focused on measures to prevent heat-related illnesses among workers and the health management system for outdoor workers.

In addition to the Gimhae site, CEO Jeong also visited the Gimhae Sinmun Central I-Park model house and the Busan Haeundae Marina Yacht Stadium to observe operations at key sites in the Gimhae and Busan areas.

"During extreme heat, we must implement thorough preventive measures for outdoor work to ensure the health and safety of our workers," Jeong said. "We will prioritize safety management, proactive risk management, and the prevention of serious accidents to create a safe workplace."

IPARK Hyundai Development plans to strengthen its safety management activities during this summer. They will operate the 'Icicle Campaign,' which includes heat acclimatization measures and a heat warning system based on perceived temperature, along with close supervision by management, provision of cooling gear, and maintenance of hygiene and facilities in rest areas.

Additionally, the company aims to continuously enhance its safety and health management system for workers by establishing work manuals based on perceived temperature standards.

Meanwhile, on June 19, IPARK Hyundai Development opened the model house for 'Parkroshi Seoul One' and began its supply schedule. 'Parkroshi Seoul One' is a premium private rental housing project located in the Gwangwoon University Station development area.
