SEOUL, June 29 (AJP) - Golfer Ryu Han-ran on Sunday won the KPMG Women's PGA Championship to claim the first LPGA major title of her career.
In the fourth and final round at Hazeltine National Golf Club in Chaska, Minnesota, the 25-year-old carded a 2-under 70 to finish at 13-under 275, securing her long-awaited maiden major championship.

The win came after an impressive comeback, with Ryu sitting five strokes behind her compatriot Yoon In-a and tied for second place through the first two rounds before climbing the leaderboard over the weekend to achieve a remarkable breakthrough.
Her decisive third round included an eagle and three birdies, putting her in position to contend before she converted her first 54-hole lead into victory.
Yoon, who held a solo lead through the first two rounds, struggled in the final round and finished third, while world No. 1 Nelly Korda of the U.S. finished tied for sixth.
