Daewoo Engineering is set to expand its cultural and lifestyle services for residents of its high-end residential brand, Summit.
Starting this year, Daewoo Engineering announced the launch of the high-end cultural experience program, Summit Culture Salon, for its residents.
The Summit Culture Salon is designed to provide residents of the high-end brand with special cultural benefits and foster a sense of pride in their living environment. The program goes beyond simple experiences, offering private curation based on culture, art, and personal tastes.
The program features three themes: wine, tea, and fragrance. The "Wine Salon" offers premium wine tastings and etiquette training, while the "Ritual Tea Salon" allows participants to explore their lifestyles through tastings of premium teas from around the world. In the "Fragrance Salon," residents can complete a personalized scent diagnosis to create a unique diffuser inspired by the Summit's traditional Korean jar design.
Additionally, Daewoo Engineering is expanding its existing residential service brand PRUS+ with its flagship cultural program, the Prugio Garden Concert. This program showcases traditional performances, orchestral music, vocalists, and popular artists in landscaped areas within the residential complex.
Since its inception in 2022, the Prugio Garden Concert has been held 86 times through June of this year. In May, the event expanded beyond existing complexes to include an open cultural event at Wirye Central Square, engaging local residents. The concert featured performances by the Western Symphony Orchestra and artists Cha Ji-yeon, Park Ki-young, and soprano Ahn Hye-soo.
The competition among construction companies for high-end brands is shifting from design and finishing touches to exclusive cultural and community services for residents.
A Daewoo Engineering official stated, "The Summit Culture Salon and Prugio Garden Concert reflect our confidence and philosophy in carefully nurturing the residential culture beyond mere construction. We will continue to expand differentiated residential services so that residents can experience a premium lifestyle beyond their living spaces."
Meanwhile, Daewoo Engineering secured approximately 2.9 trillion won in contracts for maintenance projects in the first half of this year. The company plans to pursue additional contracts in major redevelopment areas in Seoul, including the Seongsu 4 District, Sangdo 15 District, and the reconstruction of Mokdong Blocks 8, 11, and 14, as well as Shinwol City.
