KG Mobility (KGM) announced on July 1 that it sold 11,982 vehicles in June, marking a 29.8% increase compared to the same period last year.

Domestic sales rose by 20% year-on-year to 3,637 units, while exports surged by 34.6% to 8,345 units. This represents the highest monthly sales figure in over three years, surpassing the previous peak of 13,679 units in March 2023.

The company noted that exports exceeded its previous monthly record of 8,147 units set in December 2024, driven by increased sales to Turkey and Hungary.

In terms of vehicle models, the Torres EVX accounted for 2,035 units sold, while the newly launched Musso, which debuted globally in April, contributed 1,482 units. Both the Torres and Musso EV models recorded sales exceeding 1,000 units, reflecting a strong upward trend.

In the domestic market, the Musso and New Torres were the primary drivers of sales.

For the first half of the year, KGM reported total sales of 57,759 units, comprising 21,806 domestic sales and 34,953 exports. This figure represents a 6.5% increase compared to the same period last year, which saw 53,272 units sold.

KGM stated, "In June, the Torres EVX, along with the Musso and Torres, as well as the Musso EV, all exceeded 1,000 units in exports, achieving the highest monthly export figures in history. With the expansion of new model launches and a significant increase in export volumes, we aim to further boost our sales through enhanced market responsiveness both domestically and internationally."
