The donation will be delivered through humanitarian organization Korean Red Cross and used for disaster relief, recovery efforts and other emergency assistance.
"We extend our condolences to Venezuelans affected by the sudden quakes and hope the support will help speed recovery," a Hyundai spokesperson said.
Two deadly earthquakes with magnitudes of 7.2 and 7.5, struck within a minute of each other last Wednesday, triggering building collapses and damaging infrastructure, with aftershocks hampering rescue efforts.
About a week has passed since the devastating earthquakes, with the death toll continuing to rise, with at least 1,900 people dead, over 10,000 injured, and tens of thousands still missing.
According to the United Nations (UN), more than 2,000 emergency workers and over 160 search dogs from 27 countries are currently deployed in rescue operations.
"Although search and rescue operations typically focus on the first 72 hours, teams have extended their work after continuing to receive signs of life from beneath the rubble and locating survivors beyond that window," it said in a statement earlier in the week.
The conglomerate's latest donation came after its previous support for major overseas disasters including Hurricane Ian, which caused catastrophic damage in Florida in 2022; the earthquakes in Morocco and Türkiye and the floods in Libya in 2023; and the wildfires in southern California in 2025.
