MakinaRax, led by CEO Yoon Seong-ho, is launching an industry-specific AI partnership program based on its AI operating system, Runway. The first partner selected for this initiative is Dagyeom, a company specializing in semiconductor ultra-fine process anomaly detection and predictive maintenance solutions.

On July 1, MakinaRax announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dagyeom for business and technological collaboration. This agreement represents a new cooperative model that moves away from the traditional reseller structure, allowing partners with machine learning (ML) development capabilities to directly create and supply specialized solutions for end users on the Runway platform.

Dagyeom focuses on AI anomaly detection and predictive maintenance solutions tailored for ultra-fine processes at the micrometer (㎛) level. The company supplies its proprietary AI camera solution, Dagyeom Eye Kit, to manufacturing sites, particularly in semiconductor processes, and is noted for its ability to conduct real-time quality inspections during high-speed movements by installing multiple cameras within equipment. Dagyeom has raised a total of 15.5 billion won in investments, boasts an average revenue growth rate of 117%, and holds 20 registered patents, solidifying its position in the manufacturing AI market.

In this partnership, MakinaRax will provide a stable AI OS-based operational infrastructure, while Dagyeom will leverage its domain data and expertise accumulated in ultra-fine processes to directly supply predictive maintenance and machine vision-based quality inspection and anomaly detection solutions to customers. Given the security-sensitive nature of manufacturing environments, MakinaRax will also offer optimized technical support for challenging industrial settings, including closed networks and on-premises solutions.

The two companies plan to jointly explore domestic and international markets beyond solution co-development, engaging in joint marketing, sales, and reference acquisition. MakinaRax will support Dagyeom with technology assistance, training, certification programs for solution development and supply, and opportunities for joint business ventures.

Starting with Dagyeom, MakinaRax aims to expand its partner ecosystem centered around companies with ML capabilities, positioning Runway as a core infrastructure in the industrial AI market.

Yoon Seong-ho, CEO of MakinaRax, stated, "Our goal is to help partners from various industries unleash their AI capabilities on the robust infrastructure of Runway. We aim to establish a solution supply system led by partners with field expertise and accelerate manufacturing innovation by forming a large industrial AI alliance, starting with Dagyeom."
