Renault Korea announced on July 1 that it recorded total sales of 4,651 vehicles in June, comprising 3,400 units sold domestically and 1,251 exported.

While domestic sales showed signs of recovery, exports significantly declined, resulting in a 21.3% decrease compared to May and a sharp 45.7% drop from the same month last year.

Domestic sales in June increased by 17.5% from the previous month. By model, the FILANTE saw a 10.2% rise to 1,324 units, the Grand Koleos increased by 5.2% to 1,313 units, and the Arkana surged by 71.8% to 763 units.

Notably, 75% of domestic sales were hybrid models, totaling 2,529 units. This included 1,324 units of the FILANTE Hybrid E-Tech, 1,162 units of the Grand Koleos Hybrid E-Tech, and 43 units of the Arkana Hybrid E-Tech.

A Renault representative stated, "We introduced new programs like the 60-day return guarantee for the Grand Koleos to allow customers to experience the vehicles fully before making a purchase decision. We also held various events to encourage customers to test drive more vehicles."

Last month's export figures were affected by adjustments in shipping schedules due to unstable international conditions, with 135 units of the Grand Koleos (export name New Koleos), 76 units of the Arkana, and 1,034 units of the Polestar 4 recorded. This represents a 58.6% decline from the previous month and a 64.8% decrease from the same month last year.

As a result, total sales for the first half of the year (January to June) reached 33,384 units, down 29% from 47,027 units sold in the same period last year.
