KIC China announced that it hosted the 'Korea-China Digital Healthcare Innovation Cooperation Forum' in Beijing on July 2, aimed at supporting the entry of Korean digital healthcare companies into the Chinese market.

The forum was part of the national-level '2026 Global Digital Economy Conference (GDEC)', co-hosted by the National Development and Reform Commission and the National Digital Bureau.

The 'Korea-China Digital Healthcare Innovation Forum' was jointly organized by KIC China, the Seoul Business Agency (SBA), and the Zhongguancun Cloud Industry Alliance.

With the theme of 'Korea-China Digital Healthcare Innovation and Scientific Technology Cooperation,' the forum attracted over 200 participants, including policy experts, business representatives, industry stakeholders, and investment institutions from both countries. They discussed strengthening collaboration in future healthcare sectors such as AI healthcare, digital healthcare, precision medicine, and biotechnology, as well as commercialization strategies for technology transfer between Korea and China.

A total of 11 innovative digital healthcare companies participated in the forum, with nine from Korea, including Placoskin, UXN, Ludacure, ReadyCure, E-SEN, NearBrain, AltMedical, Biosonics, and Aslon. These companies presented their latest research achievements and market strategies for dementia prevention, AI-based diagnostics, and cancer immunotherapy, exploring possibilities for technological exchange and collaboration in the digital healthcare sector between Korea and China.

Kim Jong-moon, head of KIC China, stated, "Beijing is a key hub for the development of China's digital healthcare industry. This event has provided an opportunity for Korean companies to understand the local industrial ecosystem and establish collaborative foundations with local institutions and businesses. We plan to continue expanding technological exchanges and cooperation between Korean and Chinese digital healthcare sectors."
