A major job fair for the financial sector is set to take place next month, featuring a record 82 financial institutions offering various recruitment programs, including on-site and mock interviews.

The Financial Services Commission announced on July 5 that the '2026 Financial Sector Joint Job Fair' will be held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Seoul from August 19 to 20.

Now in its 10th year, the job fair aims to provide young job seekers interested in careers in finance with valuable recruitment information and employment opportunities.

This year's event will see participation from a record number of 82 financial institutions, including 15 banks, 16 insurance companies, 9 securities firms, 12 credit and capital companies, 20 public financial enterprises, 4 foreign firms, and 6 associations.

Starting July 6, the fair's website will offer a 'Financial Sector Job White Paper 5.0,' which includes recruitment information and success strategies from participating institutions. Additionally, an 'All-in-One Class for Financial Job Preparation' will be available, featuring mock tests and explanatory lectures reflecting the types of written exams used in the financial sector.

On-site activities will include interviews, recruitment consultations, conferences, lectures, and job experience programs. On-site interviews will be conducted by 12 banks. Job seekers can apply for document screening on the fair's website from July 8 to 20, and those who pass will be eligible to participate. Outstanding candidates selected during the on-site interviews will receive a one-time exemption from the document screening process for future recruitment exams at the respective financial institutions.

For young people in regions unable to attend the fair in person, real-time video interviews and public mock interviews will be offered to provide indirect experience of the interview process.

Additionally, conferences and lectures featuring current employees from financial institutions and employment experts will be held. Participants can pre-register for on-site programs starting August 6 on the fair's website, according to the schedule for each program.
