Daekyo has presented its vision for becoming a centennial company as it marks its 50th anniversary.

On July 9, Daekyo held a ceremony at Seoul Dragon City in Yongsan, as announced on July 10.

Founded 50 years ago as the Korean Mathematical Research Association, Daekyo has led changes in domestic education services with its 'eye-level' educational philosophy tailored to learners' levels and paces.

In the future, the company aims to expand its learning areas by providing new educational values through AI and digital-based future education, senior life care, and cultural content.

The ceremony was organized to reflect on the significance of the 50th anniversary and to share the growth direction for the next 50 years. Over 600 employees from the Daekyo Group attended the event, which was also streamed live on YouTube.

The event began with a commemorative video, followed by a speech from Daekyo Group founder Honorary Chairman Kang Young-joong and a CEO message from Daekyo CEO Kang Ho-jun.

Previously, Daekyo was recognized as the 'Most Respected Company in Korea' in the education service sector by the Korea Management Association Consulting (KMAC) and has maintained the top position for 16 consecutive years since its first selection in 2011.

Honorary Chairman Kang Young-joong stated, "Daekyo has reached this point over the past 50 years thanks to the support of our members and customers through numerous crises and changes. I hope we continue to deeply understand our customers and create a new 50-year history toward becoming a 100-year educational company."

CEO Kang Ho-jun remarked, "The past 50 years for Daekyo have been a time of constant evolution to preserve the essence of education. Even as the scope of education expands into culture and experience, Daekyo will remain rooted in education and prioritize the learning that the times demand."
