Yukwoo Association Donates 20 kg of Domestic Beef to Youth Judo Teams in Sangju

Yukwoo Association announced on July 10 that it visited Yongun Middle School and Gyeongbuk Science High School in Sangju, North Gyeongsang Province, on July 9 to hold a donation ceremony for the youth judo teams.

The donation aims to enhance the physical strength of young athletes and improve their training environment. The association provided 20 kg of domestic beef, specifically Yukwoo sirloin, along with essential judo training supplies such as judo tape. Additionally, the athletes received certificates of encouragement, referred to as 'Cheering Awards.'

Yukwoo beef is expected to aid in the nutritional needs of judo athletes, who require low-fat and high-protein diets for weight management and muscle strengthening.

This support for the two judo teams marks the second consecutive year, following a similar initiative in August of last year. Jo Jae-sung, chairman of the Yukwoo Association, stated, "We will continue to support promising youth who will lead the future of sports in South Korea and engage in social contributions and sports sponsorship to promote the value of Yukwoo beef."

In April, the Yukwoo Association appointed trot singer Kim Kyung-min, chef Song Ha-seul, and comedian Jo Seung-jae as ambassadors.
