Initially, Hana Financial plans to refurbish approximately 2,000 aging stone tombstones located in the Independence Heroes section of the National Daejeon Cemetery and the Soldiers' section of the National Seoul Cemetery.
According to Hana Financial, the National Seoul Cemetery, established over 70 years ago, has seen an increase in tombstones requiring maintenance. Additionally, the number of unmaintained graves has risen due to the deaths of direct descendants, making management more challenging.
The company will also expand visitor amenities. Hana Financial plans to install a total of 15 smart shade structures, with 10 at the National Daejeon Cemetery and 5 at the National Seoul Cemetery. These smart shade structures will be strategically placed around visitor pathways and shuttle bus waiting areas.
