HD Hyundai Oil Bank will provide support funds to over 2,100 gas stations across the country.

On August 14, HD Hyundai Oil Bank announced that it will distribute a total of 50 billion won to alleviate the financial burden on gas stations due to high oil prices and the implementation of the maximum price system following the outbreak of the U.S.-Iran war. The funds aim to maintain a stable supply chain for petroleum products.

The support will be available to gas stations that have signed a petroleum supply contract with HD Hyundai Oil Bank, covering the period from March 13 to June 30, 2026, when the maximum price system began. The company plans to retroactively provide 30 won per liter for all fuel types, including regular gasoline, diesel, and kerosene, sold during this period.

HD Hyundai Oil Bank expects that this support will enhance the operational stability of gas stations facing challenges due to fluctuating oil prices and the maximum price system, while also contributing to the stable supply and distribution of petroleum products. Additionally, the initiative aligns with the government's policy of mutual growth, aiming to stabilize the energy supply chain and enhance external trust.

A representative from HD Hyundai Oil Bank stated, "We decided to provide this support to practice the value of coexistence with gas stations that are struggling due to recent volatility in the energy market and the implementation of the maximum price system. We plan to actively cooperate with the government's oil price stabilization policy based on mutual growth with gas stations in the future."

Meanwhile, HD Hyundai Oil Bank has actively participated in mutual growth agreements, including a 50 won reduction in diesel supply prices in June.
