Hana Financial Group is launching a campaign aimed at promoting carbon neutrality in daily life for its employees and customers.
The 'Hana Green Mate' campaign will run until September 30, the company announced on August 19.
This initiative features personalized eco-friendly missions for employees and encourages customer participation in energy-saving activities.
Employees can access Hana Green Mate via a QR code, selecting their current location—whether at work or elsewhere—to receive missions tailored to their situation.
The missions cover six categories: energy conservation, heating and cooling efficiency, resource conservation and digital transition, reduction of single-use items and resource recycling, eco-friendly transportation, and sustainable eating habits and lifestyles, totaling 70 tasks.
After the campaign concludes, Hana Financial plans to tally participation and completion rates for each mission to estimate the potential reduction in carbon emissions.
A customer participation program will also be available. Customers can post their own energy-saving methods on social media for a chance to win coffee coupons, with 30 winners selected by lottery.
Additionally, Hana Financial will initiate a tree donation project to aid forest recovery in areas affected by wildfires, linking everyday eco-friendly practices to tangible environmental improvement efforts.
A company representative stated, "We hope that the small actions of our employees will lead to significant reductions in carbon emissions, and we will continue to offer various activities for both employees and customers to participate in together."
