A recent survey revealed that eight out of ten employees at the Financial Supervisory Service (FSS) are considering changing jobs if the agency relocates to a regional area. Notably, the intention to leave among employees with professional qualifications, such as lawyers and accountants, reached 90%.

According to a survey conducted by the FSS labor union among 1,538 members, 69.7% of employees indicated they would 'actively consider' changing jobs if the FSS headquarters moved. When including those who said they would 'consider' leaving, the total rises to 85.6%.

The inclination to change jobs was even higher among younger employees. Among those under 40, 82.5% said they would actively consider leaving, while 92.5% indicated they would consider it.

The potential for turnover among qualified professionals was also significant. Among accountants surveyed, 78.9% said they would actively consider changing jobs, and 90.6% said they would consider it. For lawyers, 85.5% expressed they would actively consider leaving, with 94.2% indicating they would consider it.

The FSS is being discussed as a candidate for the government's second phase of public institution relocation. In response, the FSS union issued a statement on the 17th, urging an immediate halt to discussions about the move, stating, 'It is a grave mistake to push a supervisory body, which should oversee finance at the forefront, to the rear.'
