The site for the relocation of Gwangju Military Airport has been decided to be in Manguwon-myeon, Mu-an.
The Gwangju Metropolitan City announced on the 28th that this decision was made during the "Gwangju Military Airport Relocation Site Selection Committee" meeting held at the Ministry of National Defense.
The site selection committee is a statutory body established under the Special Act on the Relocation and Support of Military Airports, chaired by the Minister of National Defense.
