Residents of Ha안4-dong and Iljik-dong in Gwangmyeong held a community assembly on August 29 to select projects for 2027 and discuss local issues, continuing their push for community-led change.

Residents shared their opinions on the 2027 community projects before voting to directly decide on next year's initiatives.

Residents proposed four projects: Gwangmyeong Saebit Cultural Square, neighborhood shuffle dance classes, Life+, and a life transition academy, all of which were confirmed for implementation in 2027 after receiving majority support from attendees.
Additionally, a discussion on revitalizing Iljik Riverside Park allowed residents to share various opinions on local issues and explore directions for community development.
