NH Nonghyup Bank will participate as a financial intermediary in the redevelopment project of Noryangjin 1 in Seoul, which has a total project cost of 1.8 trillion won.

On September 1, the bank announced that it has signed a financing agreement worth 520 billion won related to the 'Noryangjin 1 Redevelopment Project.' The total funding for the project is set at 620 billion won.

Noryangjin 1 covers an area of 106,152 square meters, making it the largest among nine sites in the Noryangjin redevelopment area. The redevelopment will include 28 apartment buildings with a total of 2,992 housing units and accompanying community facilities.

Since proposing financial terms in April, Nonghyup Bank has maintained its interest rate conditions while pursuing financial support for the 620 billion won project cost and 200 billion won for relocation expenses. Amid rising interest rates and volatility in the real estate project financing (PF) market, the bank continues to support large-scale residential redevelopment projects.

Nonghyup Bank is also expanding its financing for residential real estate project financing. In April, it completed a financing arrangement for the Noryangjin 8 redevelopment project, totaling 262.7 billion won. The bank aims to secure over 3 trillion won in new agreements for residential PF this year.

A Nonghyup Bank official stated, "As uncertainty in the real estate PF market increases, we are seeing delays in project schedules due to renegotiations of financial terms or re-bidding. Through this financial arrangement, we will continue to provide support for housing supply."
