Korea Housing Association Donates 5 Million Won to Support Vulnerable Mothers

The Korea Housing Association has initiated support for housing stability for vulnerable pregnant women and single mothers.

On September 7, the association announced that it donated 5 million won to the Aeranwon facility located in Seodaemun-gu, Seoul.

The funds will be used to provide essential supplies for pregnant women in crisis and single-parent families, as well as to assist these families in securing stable housing for their initial settlement. This donation is part of the association's social contribution activities aimed at supporting the living stability and independence of vulnerable groups.

Kim Jae-sik, the executive vice president of the Korea Housing Association, stated, "What mothers preparing for a new start with their children need most is a safe and secure home where they can feel at ease." He added, "As an association dedicated to building and providing homes, we find it very meaningful to be a small stepping stone in their journey to secure a precious first home."

Kim also emphasized, "We will not limit our support to a one-time donation but will work with our member companies to explore sustainable ways to give back, ensuring that neighbors in need can enjoy a stable daily life in a warm home, with the association as a reliable partner."
