The company plans to share manufacturing data with partners and expand the application of autonomous manufacturing in home appliance metalworking processes.
Automotive parts manufacturer Samhyun is building an AX system that integrates previously scattered production, quality, and logistics data, linking design, logistics, and quality in real-time. This system aims to support autonomous decision-making during the production process.
The Ministry also introduced initiatives included in next year's budget, such as full-stack AI factories, manufacturing AI foundation models, manufacturing tacit knowledge AI solutions, and the establishment of an M.AX autonomous manufacturing ecosystem. A review of 42 existing AI factory projects by the Ministry revealed an average productivity increase of 30.1% and a 15.5% reduction in defect rates.
