Daehan Electric announced on September 15 that it will showcase its core power infrastructure technologies and business competitiveness at the 2026 Climate Industry International Expo, the largest climate and energy event in South Korea, taking place from September 16 to 18 at BEXCO in Busan.

The company will set up a total of 30 booths covering approximately 270 square meters. Under the theme, 'From the West Sea to the World, Daehan Electric Connects New Energy Paths,' the exhibition will highlight submarine cable turnkey solutions, HVDC solutions, and bus duct solutions.

The front of the booth will feature large screens displaying key messages, unveiling the vision for participation in the West Coast Energy Highway and showcasing the capabilities for large-scale transmission network projects through its unique cable-laying vessel (CLV) fleet and submarine cables.

In the submarine theme area, Daehan Electric will emphasize its unparalleled construction capabilities by displaying the 11,000-ton CLV 'Scandi Connector' and a model of 'Palos,' which are being unveiled for the first time at this exhibition.

The company will also showcase key products, including the internal network for the Yeonggwang Nakwol offshore wind farm, 525kV HVDC submarine cables, and dynamic submarine cables for floating offshore wind farms, while sharing updates on infrastructure expansion, including the construction of its second submarine cable factory, which aims to be operational by 2027.

In the bus duct solution area, Daehan Electric will present epoxy and PET insulated bus ducts, demonstrating its diversified market responsiveness following a threefold expansion of its factory and the introduction of new equipment last year.

Song Jong-min, Vice Chairman of Daehan Electric, plans to visit the exhibition after attending the opening ceremony to discuss business collaboration opportunities with key clients and stakeholders.

A representative from Daehan Electric stated, "This exhibition is an opportunity to witness the changes in the power infrastructure market due to the expansion of renewable energy and AI. We will enhance our core business competitiveness in submarine cables and HVDC through technological advancement and investment, targeting the global power market."
