The Korea Copyright Commission will present current copyright registration guidelines and overseas cases, while legal experts will discuss possible revisions to rules used by music copyright management organizations.
Music publishers, distribution platforms, AI detection specialists and academics will also take part in the discussion.
The ministry said additional forums will follow including discussions on how royalties from AI-assisted music should be distributed.
