Samsung Electronics announced its participation in the '2026 Mexico K-Expo,' held from September 24 to 27 at the World Trade Center in Mexico City.

The K-Expo, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Creative Content Agency, showcased a variety of Korean Wave content, including K-pop, gaming, video, beauty, fashion, and food.

Samsung established an AI-connected ecosystem centered around Galaxy AI, Vision AI Companion, and SmartThings, enhancing visitors' experiences of K-culture through smartphones, TVs, monitors, wearables, and home appliances.

Attendees enjoyed K-culture without language barriers, thanks to real-time translation and content creation features of the Galaxy Z series. The interactive 'Vision AI Companion' integrated into the 2026 Samsung TV recommended personalized content while maintaining viewer engagement.

SmartThings provided a seamless experience by connecting mobile devices, TVs, and Bespoke AI appliances for everyday device control and energy management.

The exhibition featured themed areas, including a K-pop bar, streamer studio, TV room, gaming zone, and wellness zone. Visitors engaged in music appreciation and content creation using Galaxy AI at the K-pop bar and streamer studio.

In the TV room, high-definition K-dramas and artworks were showcased on Micro RGB and The Frame Pro TVs, while the gaming zone offered immersive experiences with a 49-inch Odyssey OLED G9 monitor. The wellness zone utilized Galaxy Watch 9 and Samsung Health to analyze personal health data, including sleep patterns.

Yoon Ho-yong, head of Samsung Electronics Mexico, stated, "This expo is a significant opportunity for Samsung's AI and connected ecosystem to meet the K-culture fandom in Latin America. We will continue to expand our products and services to enhance users' experiences with cultural content and daily life."
