GS Construction is set to develop a residential complex named 'Armuze Jae' on the site of the former Homeplus in Ansan, comprising a total of 1,354 units, including apartments and officetels.
According to GS Construction, Armuze Jae will feature six buildings with six underground floors and 49 above-ground floors. The complex will consist of four apartment buildings with 984 units and two officetel buildings with 370 units.
The apartments will range in size with dedicated areas of 84, 99, and 104 square meters, including 358 units of 84 square meters, 452 units of 99 square meters, and 174 units of 104 square meters. The officetels will have a single size of 84 square meters, totaling 370 units.
The complex is located between the Seongpo-dong and Jungang-dong neighborhoods. Nearby, Central Station provides access to Seoul's Subway Line 4 and the Suin-Bundang Line. Essential amenities, including Lotte Department Store, Lotte Mart, NC Department Store, and Nojeokbong Park, are also available in the vicinity.
The nearby Sangnoksu Station will be part of the GTX-C line, which began construction on September 15. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport has initiated the project following a groundbreaking ceremony scheduled for 2024, with actual construction starting last month.
The Incheon-bound KTX, connecting Songdo Station and Hwaseong Acheon Station, is also expected to stop at the nearby Chojin Station. GS Construction reported that comprehensive test operations began on September 17, with a target opening in December.
Community facilities within the complex will include a sauna, fitness center, screen golf, putting simulator, and a sky lounge. Dining services for breakfast and dinner will also be provided.
GS Construction plans to incorporate artistic sculptures and works by artists throughout the complex, emphasizing an art-focused concept. The name 'Armuze' combines 'ART' and the French word 'MUSEE,' meaning museum.
A representative from GS Construction stated, “This complex will offer differentiated value with its specialized layouts and high-quality community amenities.”
